On September 15th, the Tampa Bay Defense Alliance held its Annual Meeting concurrently with its regular Board of Directors Meeting. Immediately following the annual meeting, TBDA Officers, Directors, Advisers and invited guests attended an “Influencers Reception.” We were proud to host Congresswoman Katherine Anne “Kathy” Castor as our speaker. The Congresswoman is the U.S. Representative for Florida’s 14th congressional district, serving in Congress since 2007.

Immediately following the annual meeting, TBDA Officers, Directors, Advisers and invited guests attended an “Influencers Reception.” We were proud to host Congresswoman Katherine Anne “Kathy” Castor as our speaker. The Congresswoman is the U.S. Representative for Florida’s 14th congressional district, serving in Congress since 2007.Since its inception, the TBDA has communicated with our state and national legislators on defense and military related topics and issues of concern to the Tampa Bay region. Congresswoman Castor spoke to our group for over 30 minutes and then took questions from the attendees. Congressman David Jolly and State Representative Jimmie Smith have been past speakers and we are looking forward to continuing our “Influencers Receptions” throughout 2016.
